In the series Fontes Panoniae Antiquae the author edits the Greek and Latin sources of the Roman province Pannonia with translations and commentaries. In the volume six he deals with the period of the first tetrarchy (284-305 AD). This volume contains all the martyr acts of the persecutions under Diocletian. In the summary Péter Kovács deals with the history of this period with special regard to the campaigns against the Sarmatians, the translation of the Carpi in Pannonia, and the division of Pannonia inferior (Valeria and Pannonia secunda).
