Sándor Album
150 paintings about Móric Sándor, the Teufelriders riding actions from Johann Erdmann Gottlieb Prestel
The original edition
The Sandor Album is not only a painted diary of the famous horseman Count Sándor Móric, but it is an important document of the life of the time of the Count. Prestel Johann Erdmann Gottlieb the younger, who made the beautiful paintings and drawings could be considered an early photo reporter documenting all the horse adventures of the Count. He was very proud of his profession and definitely loved and respected Count Móric a lot, otherwise he would have never got into this fairly dangerous service.
