Description
Born after the Great War in 1938, this Album had a turbulent life. The Knightly Order of Vitéz together with its symbolic attributes like the sword or the badge, was not tolerated under the communist regime in Hungary. The owner was brave enough to save it at least three times by steeling it back during his expulsion from his former home, digging it under ground and finally giving it to us to publish. In it we find 5000 portrait photos and 12000 data of knights. Maybe you are going to be the next out of so many people so far to find your great grandfather or grandfather in this book.
